There's no such thing as a free lunch
Free Trials too good to be true?
Many unscrupulous marketers are offering "free trial" electronic cigarettes, but are they too good to be true? As your mother or father always said, nothing in life is free!
Always look at the fine print as many of these offers will automatically charge your credit card a hefty price for the unit after that short "trial period", as well as an automatic monthly charge for refills. Not only are the charges absurdly higher than the average market value, but the actual units you are receiving are of horrible quality.
However, many reputable e-cigarettes are sold as starter kits for about $60 to $70 (plus shipping). Almost every electronic cigarette free trial offers will charge you more than $100 for half of the product found in a normal starter kit. To make matters worse many of these units do not provide the level of vapor or throat hit to truly help a dedicated smoker make the change from regular tobacco cigarettes to the ecig..
If you decide to return the free electronic cigarette "good luck". The best case scenario will entail long hold times on the phone, annoying sales people trying to up sell you and hours of your time being wasted. Worst case scenario entails fighting with the company to refund your money, placing a complaint with your credit card company and / or paying ridiculous restocking fee's.
You will probably be "automatically enrolled in other programs, one common "auto program" will send you prefilled cartridges on a weekly basis and automatically charge your credit card for every transaction.
